New Shelves

My Darling Husband is occasionally required to make my plans come to fruition.  Most recently my request was for some rain guttering shelves for the library books.  One trip to PlaceMakers (and a slightly bemused man there - I'm not sure he believed me when I said what it was for), a little (or a lot) of work by my lovely man and, voila, library book storage!

We've had some more snow:

Look Mum, it's a WHOLE METRE!
Which has meant we've been spending a lot of time inside.  Big Brother has been working through his Miquon (maths) book at a rate of knots - he'd like to finish it this week.  He's been measuring things with C-rods...
And playing a little Rush Hour:

Some Art and Writing:
Experimenting with Chalk Pastels and Silhouettes
Little Sister wanted in on the action too, so she's been doing some sorting, counting and fine motor work:

Big Brother's been learning a new song too, but we might save that for another post ;)
