Big Brother got a volcano kit for his birthday. Apparently it is not painted in random colours... red = lava, black = obsidian, brown = dirt, grey = rocks, (mostly metamorphic, apparently), and blue = rivers. But you knew that, right?
1) nothing at all... but it does teach about acid/base reactions and the coolness that is the release of carbon dioxide. 2) can't help there, just got lucky.
I have always wondered what baking soda and vinegar teaches about volcanoes?
